mainland mexico. 2013. pacific coast. there had been a tropical storm moving right up the coast, from michoacan straight north, hugging the coast, and squashing all prospects of good surf anywhere for a few days. so i decided to shoot the storm as it moved up the coast. this image was taken between 11pm/12am, as the eye passed directly over. still breezy, but not raining, with some erie clouds pushing thru. i trekked down to the little lancha marina where all the boats were tightly secured, and shot for maybe 30-40 minutes before the rain stared coming down again. nothing like the quiet in the eye of the storm.
