capbretton, french atlantic coast. 1987. spent some time surfing and photographing along the southern atlantic coast during my tenure at art school in paris. after an late afternoon surf with some friends, i hung out in the car lot and waited for the sun to disappear. i did this exposure using the car roof as my tripod, and letting the ambient light mix with the overhead street lights. i love the way the rocks lite up just a bit. one of my favorite surf spots in france.
