houston. 1996. just before a local landmark was to be considered for either renovation or destruction, i figured i’d document what was left of some mediterranean architecture that was scattered around the city. this particular building is part of a public park and clubhouse and i wanted some dramatic sky to fit in with the moody palms and gulf coast style. fortunately the building was saved and renovated. even with its newer face, i’ll always see it this way. in black and white.
