mainland mexico. 2004. simple, but heavy, beachbreak. looks like there’s only your 1 other surfing buddy out, at least in this barrel. not terribly crowded given the time of year. dry season produces unsuspecting sandbars that don’t see as much action, but when a swell does arrive, it’s usually cleaner, prettier water and, sometimes a bit of solitude. no better way to being under the radar.
