hey, barn! 2009. i’ve passed this barn 100’s of times in my travels back and forth to central texas, and have never stopped to photograph. thought about it many times, but it’s never been the right time or conditions…until this time. perfect timing with just a short window to actually get to it, set up a tripod and get some shots before it went black. it’s simple, but i love the image for that very reason. once in a while, it does help to keep it simple!

  1. Hey, next time you’re in Southern Ontario, on the shoreline of Lake Erie (a great place for family camping vacations), check out their tar paper-sided barns. Very colorful and legion. I think you could take fabulous pics of them. Heck, I’d meet you there…
