tahiti, early morning glass. empty reef pass. my wife and i spent a few weeks kicking around french polynesia, and what a treat that was. the people were stellar, not just in looks, but in their daily lives. some of the friendliest and warmest i’ve ever had the opportunity to meet. we were just outside papeete, staying at a lovely hotel, and just in front of the room was this quality left hand reef pass. inside the reef, the water was alive with sea life. every morning at the tide swing this pass would just light up. this particular morning was no exception and the place was empty. being a weekday sometimes has its perks.
